I couldn't wait to get home and assemble the grill. When I got home I assembled the gill and performed the burn in. A day later I seasoned and put a 14 lb brisket and smoked it while I slept. It turned out very tender and very tasty. I am completely satisfied and no regrets with my purchase. And big thank to Texas Star Grill Shop for assisting us with the purchase.

I was smoking a pork butt within a couple hours after delivery. Plugged it in, connected to WiFi, seasoned it and took a quick tutorial of the app. 10 hours later a perfect pulled pork very little fuss. This machine is a marvel. Highest quality materials and a very solid design, top to bottom.

The grill is great

Absolutely love the fire pit and watching the “patina” develop with each fire. Very satisfied with the brand and accessory optionality. Also, the folks at Texas Star are always great!

I purchased my grill 12 years ago and have NEVER had an issue with the pezio starter. They built this grill where the sparker is not open to weather and they must use high quality materials. I have replaced the stainless steel flame diverters though. The burners are also original and I believe they are cast aluminum and are still in great condition.
I’m getting ready to move and will definitely buy another one for my new house
I’m hoping RCS sees this review and sends me a coupon because they have jumped in price quite a bit. I’m thinking I paid about $2,500.00 and the same one is $4,250.00 now with inflation. It you get what you pay for.

Well designed fitted cover for the Yoder 640S. It’s heavy duty and waterproof. It will be sometime until I see how well it stands up to ultraviolet light from the sun.

Received the grill this week and used it a couple of times. Aside from a small hiccup at startup, which was resolved with updated firmware, the grill works great. The App is very useful and the grill keeps it temperate very close to the set temperature. The extreme smoke setting works great as well. The only thing I would ask for to be added is a say to dump unused pellets from the hopper, but that's a small quibble.

Excellent burn rate and perfect smoke for my type of cooking.
